Post Regarding Reviving Dead Topics • Posted: Sun Jan 18, 2009 10:18 pm
Hey guys. We have a lot of new members here and that's a great thing! However a lot of really old topics have been resurrected of late, sometimes with posts that add nothing to the conversation.

If you must revive an old topic please see that follows these guidelines:

1) Your post adds something new to the thread that hasn't been previously discussed. Ex: Don't revive an old topic just to say you agree with everything being said.

2) Your post should allow members to continue posting. A revived dead topic should be one that makes members want to continue talking about the topic at hand.

3) Reviving dead posts to increase your post count will not be tolerated. If this is the case, we'll just reset your post count to zero as many times as necessary for everyone to get the picture.

It's better to make new topics then to revive a bunch of old ones in most cases. Please try to start new topics before digging through and reviving an old one.

Thanks

The Management
