 Welcome to The Forbidden Underwoods Mark 5 • Posted: Sun Aug 12, 2012 8:15 pmIf you are seeing this, you have successfully made it to the newest version of The Forbidden Underwoods! Welcome one and all. These forums are the culmination of over 25 hours of work in the past week. However, it is certainly worth it as we are finally on acgventcast.ca. In addition to the domain name, here is a quick rundown of the changes you should see on the boards:
Forum software has been updated to 3.0.10, providing numerous code fixes in the process. The Shoutbox is now running mChat, which includes sound notification, archive, editing posts, deleting posts and user permissions Username colours are now free and can be changed in your profile under "User Control Panel". Moderators should avoid changing username colours to avoid breakage. Quick Edit has been installed, allowing members to "live edit" their post without refreshing the page. Quick Edit is located at the top right of the post under "QEDIT". Gender Mod has been updated. As such, all members will need to input their gender information again. Profiles now indicate the last post a user has made, in addition to most active topic. A loading indicator will display when the forum is loading a page. Changes will still be made throughout the next few weeks. However, with the majority of the modifications installed, the boards are functioning well enough to return to a live environment. This is an exciting time for the Underwoods as we transition to a post-EDN existence.
