This is the event you all have been waiting for, the official beginnings of the sequel to the very critically acclaimed ~Forever Forgotten: A Tale of Scorned Souls~, which I know all of you who are reading this have read in its entirety (at least to where it currently is). Now in this topic you will be posting your character profiles, remember your character must be able to comply with the Zelda Universe. This could be as little as making them a knight, or as much as making them a specific race. A character 'from the future' or what would be deemed absolutely absurd and outside a fantasy medieval background will not be accepted. (I know, tyrannical yes, but it keeps the serious air to the story, which it will benefit from). Anyone with a history of plagiarism or so suspected plagiarism, will be turned away.

Signups are open indefinitely from now until a certain point in Forever Forgotten: To Dust.

Keep in mind, the time restrictions proposed in Forever Forgotten: A Tale of Scorned Souls WILL be implemented in this sequel. Meaning that you will have 2 weeks to complete your section or you will be skipped over. However, if you have the majority of your piece done, we will wait, and if you give me good reason to need an extension outside of that reason, just message me and we'll talk. The rules are very much going to be the same as the previous story, save for the enforcement of the time restriction.

No one should post in this topic unless it is to post a character profile. Discussion can be diverted into the proper topic. Any spamming of these topics will not be tolerated. Now to get to the profile creation. You should be fill in all the sections listed below, and can add whichever ones you find important.

Name
Gender
Age
Race
Birthplace
Clothes
Equipment
Attacks
Special Ability
Weaknesses
Personality
Appearance
Backstory

Now all of you get along with those profiles. I expect to see many new writers, or at least I can hope for them.

And in ending, this is a message for all current writers. If you want to remain on the team you will have to repost your profile with any editing that it needs and that business. If you feel like you do not want to take part, just post saying that you retract from the writing team. I will be posting Mervil's updated profile whenever I change it up.

Name: Currently unknown

Title: Lord of the Deku

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown

Race: Deku

Birthplace: Fluvari

Appearance, Clothing, and Equipment: He's short, but taller than the average Deku. Nobody truly knows what he looks like save his wooden face, which is a warm mahogany colour, with piercing blue eyes. His only weapons consist of Deku Nuts and a poisoned Ikanan dagger, while his clothing consists of dark brown, silver plated, leather gauntlets (which carry no added effects), dark brown greaves with gold trim around the ankle, toe, and heel, tight-fitting, chain-lined black pants that have a fastening belt on the end to latch onto the outsides of the greaves, a light but sturdy chain-lined vest that snugly fits on his torso, and a black bandanna with red silk trim. He carries a wallet with a capacity of about three hundred and fifty rupees, and a small, specially designed sapphire-embedded ring that he wears to gain access to the black market.

Attacks: Utilization of his dagger, Deku Nuts, and progressively stronger shadow magic as his skill grows.

Special Ability: He can blind an enemy by looking them directly in the eye, without aid of a Deku Nut. However, this can only take effect during a rainfall.

Weaknesses: Being wooden (presumably), he feels fire more than most, and despises being put into a situation involving it. He also has a tendency to alienate those whom he feels to be beneath him, and many of his friends and peers view him as a rather cynical, blasé sort of associate.

Personality: He will look out for himself before almost anybody else, the only exceptions being what few friends he has become close to. While generally not given as much respect as he feels he deserves, he can generally roll with the punches, as it were, but occasionally looses his grip and ends up in a situation that could have been avoided. He is a cunning, eloquent speaker, and is rather persuasive when he needs to be, which generally gets him out of the aforementioned situations. He keeps mostly to himself and does not place his trust easily, but he has been known to let some secrets slip, about himself or others, for the right price.

Backstory: He was born and raised in Fluvari with his companion Lukas Jethro, and details of this can be found under his profile. Later, the Deku Lord – then Deku Prince – found that his father had been burned in his chambers by an assassin on the same night as Kindo. After the ceremony for Lukas, the Deku Prince assumed the throne, taking on his role as the new Deku Lord.

Some years later, an odd portal opened outside of the castle gates. The Deku Lord sent men to guard it for some months, but after nothing happening, and no hostiles entering Fluvari, the Deku Lord took it upon himself to enter the portal, to be followed by Lukas and then the royal guard, reasoning that it would be dishonourable to send another Deku to face what he himself feared. However, just after entering the portal, it sealed and vanished, shocking the crowd who had gathered and enraging Lukas to no end. It was decided that Lukas would assume the throne until the Deku Lord returned.

The Deku Lord was deposited on the shore of the Zora seas and, after having a short chat with the surrounding shrubbery, found that he was in “Labrynna,” wherever that was, and was told that the Lost Underwoods to the east were home to the Great Deku Tree, who might help him more. On the long journey he slew several bandits and a few traders, amassing a large quantity of the new currency he lacked. He placed most of these “rupees” into a Hyrulean bank, and kept a wallet's fill for anything he might need on demand. He built a home near Kokiri Village, but never got to know the residents; he merely passed by to speak to the Great Deku Tree, first for a history of the land, and later for conversation.

Some years later, after one of his many expeditions through this new countryside, he was called away by the strange of forces that seemed to emanate from his newly found sword, and sent back in time to Ancient Ikana. Some unsightly events occurred, and after most curiously being sent back to his original era, he joined up with Mervil and his band of misfits, as he referred to them, and went on to rid the land of Hyrule from the evil that happened to be plaguing it.

He returned home, and for a while that was the only thing to worry about. He and Lukas noticed that some shadowy figures were starting to be spotted in the shadows, and took the liberty of investigating. After cutting down a few Hoods outside of their castle, they knew something was wrong. They swiped several robes from the ones that were dead before they could commit suicide, and began to train the soldiers in defence of the Garo. It seemed that several of these had somehow come through time and space with the Deku Lord to his current location, and he began to wonder if the same plague had afflicted Hyrule.

Alright I'm in. Let's do this.

-----------------------------------

Name: Tiveri

Gender: Male

Age: 25-30ish

Race: Twili

Birthplace: Twilight Realm. Exact location unknown.

Clothes: Standard Twilight Realm garb. Kind of like a mix of Zant's armor and Midna's Cloak. The color is black and white with green lines of course. No fruity helmet though, he has a hood; that's what all the cool kids are wearing these days. He also sports a pair of peculiar stone colored gloves with strange twili designs on it.

Equipment: Twili aren't very materialistic creatures, relying more on their ability to manipulate magic. The only other piece of equipment he carries is a pendent around his neck, mostly hidden underneath his clothing. The pendent is a symbol of rank and has no magical properties as far as he knows.

Attacks: All of Tiveri's attacks are magical, save for some disliked hand to hand combat if an enemy is up close. His magic emanates from the stone gloves on his hands. Tiveri's main method of attack involves pushing (Think Force pushing. ) grabbing an enemy with magic and throwing them, or manipulating objects around him and using that to attack. (Raising a stack of spears into the air and launching them at someone.)

Special Ability: Twilight Recall. At times of absolute duress Tiveri can open a portal to the Twilight Realm summoning Twilight monsters to fight for him. This also has the effect of transforming the immediate area into a portion of the Twilight Realm. (A la the beige areas in Twilight Princess) The creatures summoned will disappear once the threat has been removed and can only be killed if they all die at once. The Twilight Realm transformation lasts for the period of a day. This ability is only used in absolute duress since it drains Tiveri completely of energy, knocking him unconscious for a long period of time.

Weaknesses: Tiveri doesn't like sunlight, but unlike standard Twili he doesn't have to hide from it. Nevertheless his magic is weaker during the day, normal at night and strongest (you guessed it) at dawn and dusk. Other than that he's as mortal as the rest of the races on this fantastic journey. (Save the immortal ones of course.)

Personality: The cynic. Originally on a mission to scout out Hyrule, he has been stuck here for years and has grown distasteful of the other races. He also puts a lot of stalk on his own magical powers that, while considerable, cause him to act arrogant and dismissive of the less magical races. He is also very frugal and cares for nothing material except what will increase his own power or allow him to return home.

Appearance: Standard male Twili I guess. Very tall, around 7'0" (They're Twili. Heck Midna was a head taller than Link) Grayish blue skin, red eyes. Bald since Twili dudes have no hair on their heads; but this is covered by a hood most of the time so it's all good. :P

Backstory: A member of the inner court of the ruling Twili, Tiveri was sent to Hyrule for unknown reasons to act as a scout. After several years of performing his mission of reconnaissance he readied himself to leave for the Twilight Realm only to discover his means of return had been shut. Since that discovery he has wandered the land trying to find a way back, in addition to augmenting his own magical powers. During this time he has discovered how to summon things from the Twilight Realm but not how to enter it. His prolonged stay in Hyrule has also planted seeds of doubt in his mind, questioning if he was truly sent on a mission of reconnaissance or secretly exiled for some unknown reason...

Well, I'm in. :P

Name: Iris

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Race: Hylian

Birthplace: Kakariko Village

Clothes: She wears a dark blue robe.

Equipment: She carries a short sword hidden under her robe.

Attacks: She stabs enemies from behind.

Special Ability: She can sense enemies from a distance.

Weaknesses: Once she gets hit, it takes her a while to recover.

Personality: She's strong, clever, and quiet, though she'll put up quite the fight when she's angry. She can't live without knowing others' secrets. She tends to always let her curiosity get the best of her.

Appearence: She has straight brown hair that goes down to her back. She has dark green-gray eyes. She's about 5 feet tall and weighs 110 pounds.

Backstory: When Iris was really young her family moved to a small village. While she was growing up she didn't have any friends, causing her to be lonely and quiet. When she was 7 the village was attacked and there were only a few survivors, her being one of them. Luckily a young lad was wondering around and found the debris of the village along with the survivors. He ran back to his village so he could tell the villagers what he saw. Some of the villagers followed the boy back to the now-gone village and they brought the survivors back to their village.

A few days after that Iris awoken in a small warm house. She looked around to find an old couple talking. When the couple noticed her, they walked over and asked her questions. When she finally got to ask some questions, she found that she was back in Kakariko, her birthplace. The old couple kept her so she could have a family and during that time she practiced fighting because she didn't want her home getting attacked again.

EDIT: I edited almost everything..

Character 1

General

Name: Naomi Goldenwing
Gender: Female
Age: 2820 (Appears to be in early 40’s)
Race: Rito
Birthplace: Great Sea, on Dragon Roost Island, however, this is a place in a different time-line and thus, a different dimension.

Appearance

Height: 6'3''
Built: She is tall with a slim, muscular built. Her bones are hollow like that of a birds, but Rito bones are as hard as steel despite this fact (and perhaps, because of it.) Her wings are golden with a brown tip. She has talons instead of feet and a beak.
Skin: Tan
Hair: Pale-golden with a little gray, comes down half-way on her neck.
Eye Color: Mahogany
Clothing: Naomi wears a brown cloak over a long, light tunic of white trimmed with gold. A rope is tied around her waist. Around her neck, she wears a charm necklace and adds a charm each time a comrade dies so they will not be forgotten.

Weapon and Technique/Attack: Naomi's main weapon is her spear, which is taller than she. She uses it like a quarterstaff and is rather good at it. She can also fly and fight at the same time.
Special Ability: It seems, she can pick up a stalfos (and armor and equipment, for a short amount of time) while flying according to Forever Forgotten: A Tale of Lost Souls.
Healing: This is not unlimited, however, though healing small cuts and bruises takes little of her power. Yet, something like “bringing a person from the brink of death” would knock her out for a few weeks.

Light Magic: She usually uses it to send out a “sword” beam of light from her spear, power-up her weapon, or shot a stinging ball of light at someone. However, she has never trained in this field of magic beyond healing, and those three spells are the only dangerous spells she knows. Although, she has used some other abilities, they were random at best and she is not sure how she had caste them. It might also be noted that she is not very interested in learning magic to cause damage to others because she has witnessed how destructive it can be. She also has some skill in illusion, but this is quite limited to the few tricks detailed in the first Forever Forgotten.

Weaknesses: Ever heard of cold temperatures? Oh, and giant boulders, dark magic, and hidden mountains and rocks. Also, Naomi has a high amount of disliking for bats.

Personality: “An overly savvy pirate girl.” According to Yazstromo, anyways, and as we know, Yaz is great at describing people. :P She is blooming with confidence, stubbornness, and a hatred for Mervil…or an unwillingness to accept him. Whichever way you might wish to take that. Though, sometimes ‘happy-go-lucky’, this attitude has fallen on the wayside, almost disappearing, but she is still overly merciful to her foes, even the ones who do not ask for it.

Background: Naomi was orphaned at a young age, but was raised by the members of her tribe. She waspicked on when she was younger for this, but one day she had enough, and ended up killing the bully. This incident almost landed her in the gallows, but the chief of her Rito Tribe had been merciful (or so it seemed) and allowed her to live without punishment. Although, later she learned that this was the doing of another member of the tribe. Their most renowned warrior, who had taken a special interest in her after the event, choosing to train the young Rito.

This, in itself, was rare, for female Rito are more declined to more famine activities by nature. This training went on for a long time, with few major incidents, and she even was able to fine respect and friendship amongst the ranks of the trainees. However, one day, when she and another Rito were scouting, they were attack by a flock of giant birds. These birds were larger than either had ever fought, and Naomi (being the more experience warrior) had commanded the other scout to return to their tribe and left her alone to fight the flock. After issuing the order she, was knocked unconscious and was taken across time and dimensions to the world of Hylia, never to see her home or the Great Sea again.

In that land, she meant several companions, one named Elina, who took the Rito under her care when Naomi first entered Crandall some 300 years before the kingdom’s collapsed. For some time, she wondered the kingdom of Crandall and eventually took up pirating, but when Faciss attacked, she joined Crandall’s military and by the end of the war, she became a leader of the “special forces” (mages, healers, and whatnot) and meant a man by the name of Jakari Aczaros “Jaros”. Who was an ambassador from a small town (which is/was in the mountains northeast of the land that would one day be called Hyrule) of a race that called themselves the “Lyos”, often, but wrongly, called “The People from/of the Stars” due to their odd habit of going out at night at least every three nights and other abilities related to starlight. Some have accused them of being vampires. He too, fought in the war against Faciss by mere fate, and soon after, they married. The couple deciding to stay in Crandall where Naomi gave birth to her daughter, Selina, and the three meant a man by the name of Mervil.

Around five years after Selina’s birth, the war with Arivis began, which resulted first in the fall of the Castle and the Capital and the kidnapping of several of the kingdom’s children. Jaros was severely injured in the attack, preventing him from taking vengeance. Neither he or Naomi knew if the other had survived.* After this, Crandall was eventually ruined by Arivis, and Naomi swore to avenge her child and her husband’s honor before returning to what remained of her family, not knowing that it would take 2000 years to defeat the Bane of Crandall and ten more before she returned to the man she had loved.

ZE I am going to have to respectfully decline your numerous offers to join FF. But I will reconsider pending on how much I like doing a project I'm doing by myself.

That's no problem, Banished Link, signups will be open for quite a while I believe. And actually I should note that there will not be any more than 7 new writers obtained through this method, having a blizzard of characters will hinder the story somewhat. That decision may be recalled as time goes on.

Name: Daedus

Gender: Male

Age: 52

Race: Human

Birthplace: Pocket dimension

Clothes: Black leather vest, torn green poncho, sack cloth pants (with rope belt) and old thick socks.

Equipment: Rusty old rapier (modest condition, hardly new) – no hasp, instead he threads his rapier back through his poncho like a needle through thread - and Lewis.

Attacks: Moderate fencing knowledge, nothing masterful. Eg. White sword as opposed to magic sword.

He is fond of his technique he deems “Watch the birdy”. He twirls his rapier with frightening speed as Lewis slowly hops to the end of his arm. On the down stroke Lewis jumps onto the rapier and Daedus then flings Lewis at his attackers eyes. Lewis then clings onto their face, blocking their vision. Whilst they are distracted, Daedus does some fancy sword work removing the belts/sashes/ropes/suspenders/trained adders that are holding up the opposition’s pants, thus rendering them embarrassed and immobile. He is yet to successfully implement this particular technique, but he assures that it would be very impressive.

Special Ability: None.

Weaknesses: If it can be called a weakness, he will refuse to kill anything unless it is already dead. He isn’t in the peak of his youth, so it is possible to simply overpower or out manoeuvre him.

Personality: Extremely down to earth, kind and gentle. Not the best memory, but is very keen on remembering facts about his collectibles. Oh, he likes collectibles, which includes… well… anything at all really as long as it is in a set, for in the tiny room that was his home, there was naught but wooden walls, so anything at all seems brilliant and precious to him. He’s a bit daft, but still keen and will know when he’s wrong or clueless, just maybe not how or why. In his youth he was quite rowdy, but as he is getting on in years he has settled back into a more humble, reserved attitude. Not too great with people, as he his meetings with them are rare, but he speaks well and distinctly despite maybe not knowing even the simple idioms of the day.
He’s very touchy about Lewis and his past concerning him.

Appearance:
Image
His complexion is fair and his skin is in very good condition, as he has been… houseridden, shall we say, for a fairly long time. This, however, is about to change…

The bird on his shoulder is named Lewis.

Image

He is a clockwork bird, who despite all appearances is quite the thinker and cunning linguist, although he has a habit of repeating his words.

Backstory:

Daedus, for all intents and purposes, is not from the world of our heroes. He is from just outside of it. For as long as he could tell, he was alone in the universe. His small wooden shack was surrounded entirely by blackness, and all he had was the means to survive. Nothing else. One day, in his childhood, he had realised that he had never ventured out through the door and being as deprived of excitement as he was, he relished the concept. Triumphantly he ventured out and found a whole other world on the other side. After exiting the door, he noticed that the house he had left behind looked entirely different to the one he had been in moments before. Looking through the windows it looked decrepit and run down, despite the fact that he kept a very clean house. Being only young at the time, he thought little of this and went on his merry way, exploring the area. Day by day he ventured out further and further and eventually he came across a small cottage in the middle of the nearest forest. Tired from his busy day of adventuring, he snuck into the house, ate his fill and fell asleep in the large bed that occupied a large portion of the small domicile. The two elderly occupants of the house were quite surprised to find, on their return, their stockpile of food ravaged and a dirty little boy sleeping in their bed. When Daedus awoke, the two were simply watching him with soft smiles adorning their tired faces. He was scared out of his mind. He had never seen people before and was frightened witless. After an hour or two of screaming and running, the couple realised the boy couldn’t even understand them. They stopped chasing him and shouting calming phrases at him, realising they must have looked like barking animals, and instead went into the kitchen, returning with an assortment of fruit and nuts. Daedus was still scared, and might have thought this just a ploy to eat him, but his experiences were few and far between, so it didn’t take him long to accept they meant him no harm.

Daedus lived with the couple for many months, letting them teach him their language and even allowing them to name him, as living alone, he had never been named. The couple named him after a fairy tale from their home country, about a monster who appeared in the homes of couples without children and ate all of their food before the winter months. The story was told by parents to foster fear into young families so that they would have children as soon as possible, although was actually written in the renaissance of the era by the esteemed writer… wait, no… focus on Daedus…

He learned the language and when he wasn’t being schooled he was being taught fencing by the old man. Being as old as he was, he wasn’t as helpful as he might have been, but he still taught him the fundamentals and made him practice them over and over again.

A year passed and the boy had nearly forgotten his dark days inside his prior small home. His adoptive parents were worried though, as they were feeling the weight of their age, and so encouraged Daedus to go out and explore. They assured him that he would always be welcome there, but that they were just too old to look after him any more. Daedus left with a heavy heart, going back to the only other home he had ever known, the strange old empty house. Upon reaching his former home, he remembered his first experiences upon venturing out and began experimenting. He soon discovered that the inside of the house he saw from the outside was NOT the inside of the house he saw from the inside. He figured the door must be a sort of gateway into another house, a house that was not in the beautiful world his parents lived in. A wiser man might have made mention of the dimensional spell cast on the rim of the doorway or the bindings of glowing crystal woven into the wooden door itself, allowing it to act as a portal between this world and the pocket dimension Daedus was born in… however, Daedus was only 11, so he did not.

As he grew older, Daedus became more and more interested in the differences between his world and this one. He experimented by opening windows, removing bricks and, really, trying anything he could think of. He soon found that this was a bad idea, as opening windows from the inside caused some of the darkness to pour in from outside the walls. Fortunately, he opened the door and it escaped into our heroes world before it could devour our young hero. He grew fond of the other world and decided to start collecting things from it to bring back to his. Starting small, he collected leaves and broken birds eggs but quickly moved up to different types of stones, books and wood carvings. Every few months he’d go back and visit the kindly old couple that taught him so much, and he even shared his collections with them. He offered them a collection of particularly shiny stones he had found, only too happy to see their eyes light up as he passed over the sacks of Rupees. You’ll be pleased to know that the couple lived out the rest of their lives in that cottage being quite well off, as they hired a chimp Daedus happened across when he was leaving his house to take care of them in their final days. They payed him in bananas. Little did they know that the chimp was smarter than he looked, and unlike other common monkeys, he loved bananas. He never let on.
Daedus was there for their passing and promised to take their wisdom with him and to be a force for good in their beautiful world. The old man offered Daedus his old rapier and Daedus took it, tears in his eyes. They smiled, and happily wandered to the other life together. The chimp bowed, then looked at the two with a determined grin and disappeared. Daedus had no idea what happened, however the chimp was actually making sure the two who had fed him so diligently got to their destination safely.

At the age of 28, Daedus encountered an old man in the forest. He was wary at first, but the old man seemed harmless enough. Daedus showed off his most recent collection to him, amazed at the speed of the old man when he leapt toward the sparkling utensils. He left the old man to examine his latest finds while he played with what appeared to be a toy bird sitting on the old man’s pack. He nearly fainted when the bird played back. The bird explained himself to be an incredible clockwork creation by the name of Lewis who had been under the care of the old man most of his life. He immediately fell in love with the little contraption, so when the old man tired of looking at the collection Daedus hid the bird under his poncho. He paused as he did, seeing the how innocent the man was he was stealing from, but reassured himself that it was only for a little while, and that the old man probably wouldn't even notice. “I’ll give him back after tonight, I just want to study the little guy for a while. What an amazing find!” he thought to himself as the old man smiled at him. He offered Daedus an impressive bag of fireworks for his cutlery collection, to which Daedus refused. He had already passed FI on his list of things to collect, and was currently on FO. If he gave up all of these forks, he’d have to start all over again. The old man insisted on at least showing him how they worked before he said no and so lit a few of the dazzling rockets. Daedus was amazed and saw his opportunity spring into life. He gave the man a fork for each rocket he launched and asked the old man if he could have a proper show the next night, as he had to dash homeward. The man readily agreed and set up camp right where they stood. Daedus secreted the bird out of his sight and then ran the rest of the way home. That night he stayed awake playing with the bird in his home. Never before had he been so distracted in his house that he hadn’t noticed the creaking of the blackness outside. The next morning the door wouldn’t open. Daedus was frightened. He banged on the door and rammed against it time after time. He was trapped. He tore around his confined home, looking for a way out when he noticed his window. He knew it wouldn’t lead outside and that was not the reason he noticed it. What he saw shocked him to his core. He saw a note, plastered to the outside of his window. It read:
“You broke your promise, so I broke your door.”
Daedus cried. He cried and he cried. The small clockwork bird saw him cry and fluttered over to comfort him. He explained what he had done and how now, because of him, the poor little creature could never leave. They mourned together.

At the age of 40, the house that surrounded the portal into his world was demolished save for one wall. Very little light entered the house after the gates were closed, so Daedus’ skin remained pale and mostly untouched by the world. Daedus passed the days by talking to Lewis and by practicing the few basics he learned from his adoptive father. He sometimes still cries about him.

At the age of 52, a disturbance in the south wall of his house sucked both Lewis and a temporally locked drum kit with one use left in it out into the other world. He loved both of them. He was alone. Until now…

Name- Fulkrome

Gender- Male

Age- Unknown

Race- Darknut

Birthplace- Unknown

Clothes- The usual armor of Darknuts, colored black with intricate golden lines, a red cape, and a crest atop his helmet.

Equipment- A circular shield, a long black and silver sword, and a rapier used when the bulk of his armor is taken off.

Attacks- In combat he usually uses powerful strikes with his sword. He will occasionally use his shield for offensive purposes. When the bulk of his armor is taken or broken off, he will use quick attacks with his rapier. In rare instances where fire is involved, he will use it to heat his gauntlets and grab his opponents, burning them. This attack is not used very often, since it also causes painful burns to his hands.

Special Ability- During times of great peril, he can sheathe his weapons in shadows, lightening and sharpening them. This increases his speed, moving quickly around a battle. This technique is not used very often because Fulkrome never finished his training with Ganondorf, causing him to become immobile with fatigue after using it.

Weaknesses- Being clad in heavy armor, he has trouble crossing rivers and other bodies of water without a sturdy raft. Extremely hot temperatures are also a problem for him, heating his armor while he’s in it.

Personality- He is usually quiet, thinking about his actions before performing them. He hates anything that has to do with Ganondorf or any other evil entity. During fights he is very serious and calculating. He can be somewhat light-hearted, but only to those he forms a close bond with.

Appearance- His appearance under his armor is unknown. He stands at 7’5”, towering above most enemies.

Back-story- Once a servant of Ganondorf, he has since changed his ways. When he worked for Ganondorf, he was one of his most powerful soldiers, trained by the King of Evil himself. Under Ganondorf’s training, he learned not only the use of a sword, but also how to use darkness as a weapon. He was sent to fight Link, but was defeated after a long fight. As he lay there near death, he heard the voices of the goddesses, telling him to change his ways or die. At that moment he vowed to fight against evil, not for it. Since then he has been wandering Hyrule, destroying the tattered remains of Ganondorf’s forces and fighting any other evil being.

Alright, so I finally have the profile done -_-'
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Femm Bloodseal

Gender: Female

Age: looks to be 17 but real age is unknown.

Race: Demon/Sheikah

Birthplace: Unknown, but she grew up in Kakariko Village

Clothes: Moonlight blue pants and shirt with a crescent moon on the chest (the crest of her demon-half of the family) covered with a black cloak with the Sheikah symbol printed on the back. She has black, fingerless gloves and at her left side is a black sheath, holding her father’s blade.

Equipment: a pitch black sword
Attacks: is able to use the elements; fire, wind, earth, water, and darkness, but she mostly just uses her blade.
Special Ability: Can charge magic within her sword and release it to cause a large blast of energy that can stretch about the size of a small village.

Weaknesses: Weak against any Light elemental attacks.

Personality: For the most part she’s a cold person that keeps her distance from others. She’s almost always serious and calm, even dealing with the most annoying of people. It’s rare, but when it’s truly needed, she’ll be kind to others; whether it’s to calm someone down or to get information out of them when they’re scared.

Appearance: She has silver-violet eyes and long black hair which is usually in a ponytail to keep out of her face during battle. Her bangs are long, covering her ears and parts of her eyes. She’s about six-feet tall. On her left arm, near her shoulder there’s a scar of a crescent moon, in which was placed there by her father to remind her of her demon blood (not that she’d ever be able to forget anyway)

Back story: Being the child of a demon father and a Sheikah mother, Femm had a challenging life at first, but once said parents began teaching her how to use her abilities, she was soon left completely alone. Growing up with no friends caused her to have few emotions, but she preferred it that way, and so did her father. Her mother however, wanted her to befriend some of the other Sheikah children, causing Femm’s father to etch their family’s crest into her left arm, near the shoulder.
By the time she was just a young child, looking to be six if she were a human, but the actual age is unknown, she was fully capable of defeating her father in combat, along with some of the stronger Sheikah warriors. Soon after this occurred, her parents, along with the other Sheikah, were called out to help destroy an evil that had suddenly risen, and none of them had been seen again.
As a young ‘mix breed’ Femm was forced out of Kakariko village by the new immigrants that had taken the Sheikah village over. That was when she began to travel the lands, vowing to find her parents, and if they were killed, she would search for the one that had murdered them, and slay the creature herself.

Name: Runëi (ROO-nay)

Race: Cherub

Appearance:
Tall, with long blonde hair to the middle of his back. A gold embroidered white bandanna circles his head, serving to keep his hair out of his face. His skin is very fine and unblemished by wound or callus, and very pale in comparison to the Hylian’s. He wears a long white robe that has a slit in the front up to his knees, for ease of movement. Intricate designs and writings in the old Hylian tongue are sewn into his robe in black onyx thread, several of which can be used be mages to create powerful spells. A gold leather belt sits around his waist, serving to secure his robe and to carry things. He prefers sandals over any other type of footwear, which are made of fine leather and prove to be very comfortable.
As expected, Runëi also has wings. Two long, white, feathered cherubim wings extend out of his back through his robe that are not retractable. He can and does use them to fly, although he isn’t strong enough to fly for long distances.

Personality:
Runëi is a soft spoken cherub. Not having fought in more than a handful of battles and wielding virtually no combat training or experience, Runëi is more a pacifist than anything. His physical weakness is manifested in his countenance, which is gentle and quiet in appearance. His innocence also gives him a level of naivete, and he is very trusting of almost everyone, after living in a perfect realm for so long. This innocence causes great shock to come over him when he is exposed to traumatic things like death and bloodshed, but he is able to contain his trauma to the point where he appears unfazed. Unfortunately, while he may appear unscathed on the outside, his emotional shock becomes bottled up and causes scarring on his mind.

Weapons:
Runëi uses a small collection of Light magic spells, mostly for the purpose of disorienting his enemies. A small dagger is located in a hidden pocket on his robe for absolute emergency situations.

Special Abilities:
Goddess’s Protection, and Yynstei (YIN-stay). As a messenger of the goddesses, Runëi also has the unique privilege of having a measure of their protection; however, this protection consists only of a specific amount of their magic. The goddesses do not literally watch over him and give him their divine providence. This magic, however, is extremely powerful and is capable of repelling most attacks from the enemy. It functions as a giant sphere of magic, encircling him and any allies within range. Unfortunately, because this magic is a set amount, it can be overpowered by sheer force.
Yynstei is a special type of song sung by the creatures that inhabit the goddesses’ realm. While normally used for worship purposes, this song has the unique quality of being able to renew the energy of wounded or exhausted beings to whom it is sung, proving to be especially convenient on the battlefield. This song, however, can not be used by Runëi to restore his own energy.
A few other types of Yynstei exist, which have a wide variety of effects. Some songs are able to calm the mind to those they are sung to, while others can cause both friend and foe to fall into a deep sleep upon hearing them. A hymnal strapped to Runëi’s waist by his belt holds the complete collection of Yynstei, explaining how to sing them as well as their function.

Weaknesses:
When Goddess’s Protection is overcome, and the enemy is successful in landing a blow of some kind on him, it is usually more than enough to incapacitate him for the rest of the battle, sometimes even resulting in a state of unconsciousness that can extend for several days. He also has to be alert enough to engage the Goddess’s Protection in time to prevent an attack; it does not activate automatically. Thus enemies are able to surprise him or take advantage of him while he is distracted or overwhelmed.

Backstory:
While the Ooccoa may be creatures closest to the gods, they do not inhabit the realm of the divine. The beings with the most intimate fellowship with the creators of Hyrule are their servants; the angels. The angels of the goddesses’ realm have a vast hierarchy and a ranking system very close to human standards. Some classes of angels are assigned to more mundane tasks, such as cleaning the palaces and seeing the souls of men in and out of the kingdom. Other classes, while they may not be close to the gods themselves, have the privilege of carrying messages between the gods and goddesses and their respective clergy in Hyrule; a few of them have even visited the Royal family on occasion. The highest class of angel, the cherubs, stand at the sides of the three goddesses themselves, carrying out whatever task they’re given, whether it be to stand guard, feed them, or carry commands to the lower classes.
Recently, though, a darkness has reared its head in Hyrule. While the goddesses don’t normally become directly involved with the affairs of the Hylians, they do oversee the world’s activities and status as a whole. The darkness that is spreading has aroused a greater fear in the goddesses than anything has before. Unable to leave their realm because of the impurities outside, the goddesses decide to send one of their most trusted cherubs to Hyrule for the purpose of investigating this darkness and assisting in any way he can to destroy it.

And with that we've already reached the cap of 7 new writers. I send out apologies to anyone who had aspirations to join, seeing as it's too late (for now). I need to address the following however, and if people want they can pull out or ask variations of this (if they can exist).

If you decide to drop out of writing or 'disappear' for a long period of time you will forfeit all of the rights over controlling your character and they will become, in a sense, an NPC. Meaning we can direct them any way we wish, even knock them off at some point.

Other than that, I haven't much else to say, more will come when To Dust rolls along.

*edit*

Ah yes, I almost forgot. The older writers will/can still post their updated profiles and if they so choose, can create ONE secondary character to their liking. However, I'm not sure how many people will take up on that chance. I will be.

Warning New Character Approaching!

Name: Klaus Russeau

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Race: Hylian

Birthplace: Darik Village (Eastern Hyrulean Territory)

Clothes, Equipment and Appearance: Taking on the garb of the Royal Advisor, Klaus is normally dressed in deep blood red and royal blue ankle high cloaks. Gold trim and the Royal Insignia grace the front and back of these. Despite being under complete protection, Klaus is known to wear very light mail and plate armour beneath his official garments. As the acting Cleric, he wears a Triforce pendant around his neck. Each triangle consists of a different metal with a corresponding precious stone embedded in its centre. As custom, even with the Clerics within Hyrule’s Courts, he carries a long golden hilted sword that is merely for show and not for fighting. Klaus wears several elaborate rings and a small set of reading glasses. Dirty blonde hair and unusual large amber eyes give him a very childlike appearance even though he carries a large amount of responsibility in Hyrule.

He has a medium build and is of average height. At times Klaus is known to keep a beard despite it being taboo, as uninteresting but crucial that is to mention. Underneath most of his garments he has hidden several burns and scars from his adolescence. When out among the ‘normal’ people, he carries small daggers and wears a simple silver key instead of his official charm, covering his formalities with a dull red travelling cloak.

Attacks/Skills: Although it is common practice for a Cleric in the Courts to carry a decorative sword, Klaus is one of the few that has actually trained to be able to use it effectively (but only for defensive measures). However, this is considered very controversial to the older clergymen, so this knowledge is kept restricted from anyone and everyone other than his teacher. Beyond the standard sword fighting abilities, Klaus is able to professionally create special potions and poisons passed down through the generations, being able to create volatile substances if needed.

Special Ability: Klaus is not a magical being by nature. However, due to his very skilled ability in potion making, he is able to create other magical entities that can be used as weapons. The Cleric is able to bottle several homemade spells and unleash them whenever he chooses, especially weather conditions (windstorms, lightning, etc.). Klaus may not be magic, but he can create very powerful but dangerous spells for erratic use.

Weaknesses: Being human with no magical ties, Klaus is susceptible to every weakness of his race. He does have higher stamina because of his potions, but he is not invincible or close to immortal. The Cleric is highly weak against fire, being afraid of it ever since he was a child.

Personality: Growing up in humble surroundings, Klaus is very much that, a calm and quiet young man who keeps his opinion to himself more often than not. A fiery temper lingers behind his words, especially when his beliefs are brought into the mix, but he is very far from being as low as oppressing his own system on others around him. Very open but very professional, he is unable to take things in stride and is always in a hurry, impatient but calculating. His language is eloquent but usually degrades depending on his company. As a Cleric, he is able to give straight and useful advice, able to read people’s feelings quite easily and responding very kindly at almost every instance.

Back Story: Klaus Russeau was born to two peasants living in the poorer division of Darik Village; a rather large community that received very little attention from the capital. Taking up odd jobs as he grew, the young lanky boy was considered to be very likeable and trusting. Learning under various tutors, Klaus gained a bit of sword training from the local blacksmith, medicine making from the doctors, and learned about the scriptures from the Sanctuary. Upon turning sixteen, he was considered a jack-of-all-trades, being especially active in his childhood neighbourhood. His money-making abilities enabled him to move out of his home and fend for his life at an early age, still giving money to his parents for all they did for him to get to that point.

But in the mirth he felt in the humble village, there was always a feeling of anxiety hiding behind his every action. Klaus’s worries were met one stormy night when the wild clans that lived among the mountains to the north east performed a raid on Darik Village, something unheard of for nearly a century. The young boy was working with the blacksmith when the attackers came to steal his wares. With the little training he had, Klaus tried to defend the shop with his tutor, being overpowered easily. The blacksmith was murdered by being scoured within his fire pits; Klaus was subjected to torture with various brands and left to die. One of the doctors managed to escape the raid and arson, and was able to partially heal Klaus’s wounds, leaving him badly scarred for the remainder of his days.

It was days later that he discovered that his parents had been killed when their home was torched by the raiders. After this loss he began to question the Gods at the Sanctuary, for a while turning into a vagabond, looking for a real reason for life, a way to trust humanity for what it was capable of and what it did to his home. A year of travels brought him back to the village, it was a changed place with most of the people gone because of constant attacks from the north east; the capital did not implement defensive measures to help them. Resent and regret followed Klaus wherever he went.

Deciding that his old life was over, he paid a visit to the now rundown church atop the hill. The gravestones of many generations had been broken by vandals and remained in disrepair. Klaus knelt at the broken monuments within the dusty halls and was surprised by a visitor; the Cleric there had remained the entire time still praying to be spared of the cruelty of the wild folk.

Sitting down with Klaus, he helped him vent all of the hatred he had gained from the experiences he had abroad, watching the filth of humanity around him. The Father explained that it was their job to make sure to spread morals, rights and freedoms to everyone they touched. Russeau took this as a blessing, a grant to begin looking to put right the wrongs he had suffered at the hands of those around him. It was there that he changed his focus to learn to keep the peace in humanity’s heart, making sure to steer them away from the madness of the tribes living on the outcrops of Hyrule. Upon moving to the capital to begin anew, he joined the clergy.

Three weeks later he found out that Darik Village had been completely overrun and every remaining citizen had been hung in the Sanctuary and incinerated at dusk. To avoid the spread of the dangerous foreigners, the king ordered the cleansing of the area; Russeau was hired to help them navigate the lands around the Village. When every raider lay dead, he went around blessing each with his custom made charm, which was of the Triforce clumsily plated in silver.
After five years in the clergy, Klaus rose through the ranks as one of the more respected and awed of the newer Clerics. Even some of the older members envied his outright devotion to the Gods and seemingly pure and noble soul. It was through this preference that upon the unexpected death of the current Advisor to the King where Klaus was voted to take the position until a proper vote could be cast. That was four years prior to the events in this tale.

With political unrest and indecision, Klaus was kept in the seat of power, continually wearing a garb that no one had ever worn at his young age. He used this position to help clean up the capital, open more sanctuaries, close more brothels, and increase the guard. But it was to no avail, Hyrule Town was rampant with misdeeds that he wasn’t able to control as Advisor. Nevertheless, he still remains faithful to the king and his Gods, trying his hardest to change the nature of the people around him, always reminded of how nearly impossible a task it would be.

Hyrule is a very different place.
