ok everyone, I think it's time we face the fact that the forums borderline on being dead. What are we going to do about it? Obviously we could just start trying to post but so far it usually goes for about a week and then just dies down again. What should we do to liven things up?

I moved this to comments and ooncerns.

Hmm, well as with any forum thats kind of dead, you would just need more members I guess.

And I mean active members and such.

I'm not as on as I used to be since I have finals and such right now. Though I will be on more often when they are finished. (which is tomorrow btw)

They arent dead... i like it this way better. Its easyer to keep up with and everyone here so far seems to get along but if tons of people join there will be fights. But i guess as the forums grows there will be more mods and the current ones will be better at moding

No, these forums are dead. They once were lively and interesting, but seeing as we've tried to revive them so many times,..........the end is here. It's the sad truth.

I think a few things could help

1. put an ad for edn forums in your signatures in all the other forums you post on
2. I think brighter layouts tend to attract more people
3. try to advertise as much as you can

I think it's still possible to revive them, but it'll take a lot more members

I did consider making like a Dark Themed layout (for the forces of Ganon People) and a Light Themed layout for the Hylian Army. Though I probably won't do that for a while as I have a surprise for the site this weekend. :D

Maybe next month.

Layout? I loooooove a good new layout. Ahhhh how i miss Hylian Midnight, i think its the BEST site layout i have ever seen. Not just Zelda site layout, layout in general. You should skin your site or something and have that as a choice.

Was the "surprise" what transformed the site into a blank page for a week before it became that awesome new layout?

Um, the site was online the whole time I was making the layout. It was online up to the point when I started loading the new layout. :S

Oh, and the layout was the surprise.

Well, it seems that yet again these forums have fallen piece by piece into a precipice of loneliness and silence. This may be an old topic, but for the time being I must say that the Forbidden Underwoods are suuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeee quiet lately, except for a few members that still are around.

Seeing as i joined when it was relatively active and now that it is quite empty, yet indeed more members are coming, barely any are interacting with the active members. I would suggest something about how to reinitiate active...ness, but my mind is drawing a blank. I am not saying that the forums are dead, but it is concerning.
