Er, right DC?

Dude, that was so low. *chuckles* I do not condone that sort of behavior.

A terrible 14th for me. Nothing happened. I did get to travel to Wichita (Kansas, sorry for you Canadian folk) with a girl I liked/still have a thing for. *sigh* (She has a boyfriend) However, it is cool, cuz she tends to hang around me more than the other 4 here. :D

I had an average 14th to say the least, nothing really happened, I did have the chance to have something happen but then my dad got me to go outside and shovel a whole *navi* bunch of snow and when I got back all chances were gone. It was practically the same as always, except I got to spend about...half an hour of it with what I wanted to spend all of it with. Ah well, I still got to revel in the fact that it was 2 years that day when I finished Evil's Wake and The Arbiter Gates versions 2 together <.<

Alright, well since this is a serious topic, I suppose any remaining conversation here will be serious talk about love and the like.

But, these are the Forbidden Underwoods, what is serious here?

All fun aside, how about we talk about the meaning of love and is it just a thing cuased by chemical reactions or something more. Sound good?

I would love (heh, bad pun) to say that it's just a chemical reaction, but that makes me wonder what tells those chemical reactions start. I figure that something more is going on than can be 'proven' with Science.

I suppose it is merely the work of a omnipotent force stopping us from inbreeding, so that our species doesn't collapse in on itself from sheer mental disability. So, now, by this force's doing, we have it in our heads that procreation is something to be done with certain people, and that these people are defined by this love concept. Yes, I just pulled all of that from nothing.

Also, love is overrated. Too much effort to maintain a positive relationship, what with all the fickle attention one apparently needs.

One could assume it is merely a 'chemical' happening, think about it. When you feel 'love' you feel happiness, or you might feel depressed or maybe anything else in that matter, what causes all of those? Chemical reactions and transfers in your body. All feelings are conveyed only due to stimuli from the outside world, by either seeing, smelling, and etc. No feeling comes from nothing when you really think about it.

Now to defy what I just said, I don't think Love is a 'chemical composed blah baledfjha;fgj kind of thing'. It is a collaboration and relationship of several of the ones caused by such, it's a feeling that isn't necessarily a 'feeling'.

I'll put on my empirical definition someday.

Love is: A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.

That is my own opinion and not a definition found at this link: http://www.answers.com/topic/love

I sense a certain amount of bitterness.

Everyone in my C+C group has no great love for the day for some reason. Which is weird considering half of them are in a happy relationship/married. I believe they call it Singles Awareness Day. :P

As for me, I'm going to actually take my advice this year.
