Well, had to write a few poems for my English class and they both turned out pretty good, so I'll be posting them here. I might write more if anyone enjoys these ones.

Land of the Gnomes

Behold this place, the land of the gnomes.
Living in harmony with squirrels and deer.
March, march into their tiny homes.

Houses of mushrooms forming domes.
Hear them shouting in terror and fear.
Behold this place, the land of the gnomes.

Steal all their puny little combs,
and their poison's gnomish cure.
March, march into their tiny homes.

Reading from their itty bitty magic tomes,
and donning their rarely used battle gear.
Behold this place, the land of the gnomes.

The sound of the ocean with its colored foams
Echo across the valley, covering their tears.
March, march into their tiny homes.

Mirroring the fate of Rome's,
All their faces covered in fear.
Behold this place, the land of the gnomes.
March, march into their tiny homes.

Last Night on Earth

Gaze into that starry night.
Remember this moment frozen in time,
Oblivious to the chilling winter's bite.

All around is filled with white,
Listen to the distant bell's chime.
Gaze into that starry night.

Distant moon casting its light
Upon the cold, cold rime.
Oblivious to the chilling winter's bite.

A momentary lull in the violent fight,
The bomb's shadow like a mime.
Gaze into that starry night.

The enemy's vulgar display of might.
Watch its finalizing ascending climb.
Oblivious to the chilling winter's bite.

Our final moments within its sight,
These few seconds past their prime.
Gaze into that starry night.
Oblivious to the chilling winter's bite.
