Step 1: Translation
The puzzle consisted of a large 26 by 26 block of gibberish, once you got past the translation. Nobody seemed to have trouble with that.

Step 2: Finding the Riddle
You had to read from bottom to top in each column, moving left to right. This would yield the following riddle:
Quote:
I am valued for several reasons
I exchange hands but not always at your command
Be careful what you wish for
Pockets are only so deep without me
Your journey will be arduous
I am not gold and I am not silver
I am much more
I can weave clothes
I can strike armor
I can carve arrows
I can write charts and I can teach you lessons
In another world I am the jewel of fair hearts and of split minds
Yet I am everywhere at your side

I fear the night and exotic hand
dark waters and unforgiving faces
life flashes by in an instant
fragile
brittle
a shell for someting more beautiful to the eye and to the ear
I bring you and spread waves
I am loved to the point of noble sacrifice
I am numberable in a familiar fashion
Three and more when I am found
Voices will rejoice thy name not forgotten
Your quest continues anew
Into a great ocean of adventure

Step 3: Two Riddles (hence the first hint dividing the "riddle" down the middle)
As you can see above, the two riddles are split up.

Step 4: Solving the Riddles
Once solved, the riddles yielded the words "rupees" (the answer to the first riddle) and "zora egg" (the answer to the seocnd riddle). Nobody got through this step.

Step 5: Combining the Answers (hence the second hint, "from two, one" meaning these answers led to another answer)
The puzzler had to figure out that it was implying that there was a price on a Zora Egg. You can sell Zora Eggs to the Curiosity Shop in Majora's Mask for 20 rupees. Thus, the answer is 20.

So the answer to the second riddle was Zora egg, I was so close to solving that.

Maybe next time. XD
