So guys, 2008 will be gone in a few hours. What are you guys doing to celebrate? Any resolutions? Excellent things happen in 2008? Awesome games you played?

This is the thread for it.

I'll post later because I'm trying to find a picutre. Someone else go first. :P

I'm going to try to keep a journal. It doesn't have to be every day, but yeah, nothing too crazy. I've not a big person on resolutions. :P This reminds me...I still have to get a book for the journal though!

I'm still not done with FFIV. I've just not had the time to complete...I think. O_o

Alright:

To celebrate we're going to keep with a 2 year long tradition. Five minutes before midnight on New Year's Eve we will collect into a randomly chosen game and town of Animal Crossing. I'm hoping that it takes place in Crandall (My Animal Crossing: City Folk town) :P

I'd make a resolution if I knew I'd stick to it, since I don't stick to many things other than a few promises and projects. If I had to make one...I'd try to improve my work effort in and outside of school, to stop procrastinating and continually doubting my material.

Excellent things that happened in 2008:

Hmm. This is a tough one. I guess I'm sorta glad that Hyrule Trivia Season 3 went...better than usual ;P.

Forever Forgotten has sputtered along and is still alive.

...

A pessimistic person can't really say much for awesome things.

OH YEAH

I discovered Castlevania this year. :'D

So basically I played Castlevania. And I played Super Metroid aaaaaaand other than those, not a lot of awesome games have come my way.

yeah...

I do have a list of BAD things for 2008 ;D

Perhaps another thread if everyone wants to share bad things. :P

Resolutions:

1) I still maintain my University goal to get every letter grade with the exception of 'F'. Right now I only need a B+ an A and an A+

2) Finally get the site running the way I've wanted for years

That's all I really have for now. I'm still trying to find those pictures from Halloween.

My resolution is to not make a resolution. The end.

My resolution is to beat Skies of Arcadia on the GC, after having it for 3 years getting to the last dungeon and not completing it.

It won't be the new year until I get a night of sleep in between.

Well I must say, all except one of my New Years Eve wishes came true!

Yes, I had New Years Eve wishes and one of them was my team crushing my brothers team. :P

So, time to party like it's 1999.

I remember 1999's New Year's Eve. It was awesome... I think...I was only 8...sooooooooo, yeah ;P.

Well, in case you all were super excited to know the outcome of the Animal Crossing town draw, I didn't get to spend the countdown in City Folk D:. But my Hyrule in Wild World was the victor. Nothing like a New Year's in Animal Crossing...

Yeah...that IS pretty sad as my highlight of the night...

None of my wishes came true tonight, very unfortunately, and in fact I spent the entire night drinking bad wine and staring at a textbook.

I wish I was 14 in 1999. I would've appreciated the new millenium a little more :P .

My New Years went by very fast, I spent the whole night on the phone, and texting. 6 hours on the phone makes your ear very hot.
