I can only remember ones that I've read in the last few years. The Door Within Trilogy (including The Rise of the Wrym Lord and The Final Storm), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (just before the movie came out last year), and the Harry Potter series.

I know this is sort of a RDT, but I feel that it serves a noble cause and... this topic deserves new attention!

Currently reading Issac Asimov's Foundation series. Good stuff.

Also Yaz, have you read Darren Shan's Demonata series?
