Fantastic. Simply fantastic.

You continue to impress, Berlioz. I eagerly await more.

You're in the palace of my dreams, witnessing the man your villain can't look like. What's in your hand? Back at me. I have it. It's the Light Force, flowing out of your beloved princess. Look again. That was incredible, Berlioz. I'm glad to see so much vigour going into this project, I would say you impress me plenty more than poor old ZREO. As much as ZREO promises amazing things, there's a limit to patience :P.

So, I don't know about anybody else, but I've replayed this snippet several times over the last few days... I find that Captain Viscen as a woman is rather fitting; the contrast in the three voices makes it easy to pick out who is saying what, and while this may not be the desired effect it makes for an interesting listen even after several times, like a movie that you have to watch more than once to pick up everything.

With regards to something you asked the other day, Berlioz: yes, people will listen to the unfinished project, because it's already at awesome levels. :p

Alright people, I've set up a blog and a facebook page. Like and share to the four winds!

That Viscen being a woman thing will be answered in the blog's first Q&A post, firstly because of timbre richness and what DL rightly said, which is also why it was and is common for women to play out young men in opera.

Here's an idea, have each of the ORIGINAL heroes save the day.(The butler's nephew, Darmani, and Mikau, and since it's based around Anju, have him inadverdantly save the fourth giant when he goes to get his mask.) I don't exactly know if this will help, hurt, or annoy, seeing as I don't know opera very well, but since you don't have Link, it's an idea that you can use(right?) to keep it somewhat the same, unless that was already your plan, but you didn't let anyone know. . .

Kafei inadvertently makes the Deku save the first giant, but I'm sorry to disappoint you, it's the only giant that is saved. The heroes meet their demises normally, and Kafei runs into some of them.

I'm surprised no one has said anything about your second Demo, Berlioz, shame on them (and me). I saw it first through Zelda Dungeon as I've been rather bad about attending the forum due to work, so at least you're still getting the attention you deserve :p. I enjoyed Sakon's song, very methodical rhyming to represent his confidence in thieving prowess :p. I know its just a demo, but I sure hope that in the final product we see the fabled Sakon vs. Kafei's possessions.

If you mean Sakon stealing Kafei's mask, that isn't seen, because it happened a month before the first day, and the opera starts on the first day. If you mean Kafei getting the mask back from Sakon, of course that will be in the opera.

I have to say, I really like this one. This tune, and the whole music box house in general, was always such an oddball in the best way possible, being ridiculous and deathly serious simultaneously in that manner that the Zelda series has so perfected. Now you've made this song fit so well with Pamela's innocent denial that this outlandishly happy tune playing in such a dark and dangerous place makes absolute sense.

And you make an excellent gibdo; you should try being undead more often.
