It's been confirmed. Looks like Wind Waker is coming to the Wii U. According to Nintendo, "We’re happy to let you know that both The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and a brand new game in the Zelda franchise are coming to the Wii U!"

There goes my plans of not getting the Wii U.

I'm pretty stoked about their idea of incorporating dungeons in any playable order in the next game. Also excited about the WW revision. The comparison of graphics (@31:20) is getting me even more hyped. (Typing as I'm watching for the first time.)

I have no idea. I thought it was going to be Majora's Mask for sure. I was really surprised when I saw the Wind Waker announcement. I can say I prefer that though, because I just played MM and I haven't touched WW in years!

Just look at those graphics. Too bad it's "fake". I think that would have been neat to have MM on the Wii U as well.

I am super excited to play Wind Waker HD. I can't see anything but good things coming from its release/remastering. I kind of hope they add in some extras, too, but I can't be too hopeful .

New Zelda for Wii U to change the formula? That's what they said about Skyward Sword. I'll believe it when I see it. I still see potential in the original style anyway. I've heard something about 'doing dungeons out of order'. That can work just fine, because essentially it's the old style. The Player will get so far in a certain dungeon, then have to turn back and go somewhere else for a means to pass that dungeon's obstacle.

Kind of like SNES A Link to the Past and the Ice Palace and Misery Mire. I always felt doing Misery Mire first since using the Cane of Somaria was simpler than doing the block puzzle in the Ice Palace. Stuff like that.


But Wind Waker HD shall be mine! After I get a Wii U... and monies .

Hm....I realize I never played Wind Waker and now i can just wait for the HD version....well that's nice. Although I still won't buy a WiiU solely for WWHD....Unless something I actually want comes out...
