Because the one going on in Alberta is dead boring. -_-

So, I don't know how many, if any, people here can vote in this election. But what is everyone's views on it, who you want to get nominated and win?

I'll go first, I predict an Obama vs McCain election with Obama winning. I personally like him better than Hilary Clinton. It's more a general dislike for Clinton, rather than an like for Obama, dunno why really.

Your guyses turn.

I think that it may end up Obama vs. Hilary Clinton, with Obama smoking the competition <.<. I'm a fan of both to be sure, but I think Obama would be superior running the American government, I just see his popularity and his overall outlook on politics to be a bit less convoluted than what others in the past have had. McCain, I barely hear him mentioned, nor do I necessarily care from what I have heard :P

Um, Obama can't run against Clinton. They're both Democrats. The winner of the democrat nomination gets to go up against McCain for the presidency.

Heh, good old me and the fact that I don't know much about politics, especially in the US xD. So I guess I am seeing a domination of Obama over any opposition, yes, exactly. :P

I can vote...ah, after my birthday this year...and being an American, I can't say I like any of the candidates. I like the democrats for some policies but I can't stand their morals. I like the republicans for their morals but some of their policies are *navi*. So, if I was to chose one over the other, I would probably end up going republican, but my head is somewhat democratic...(education, economy, and I'm a bit for backing out of the war, but not completely.)

*sighs* Anyways, when I look at the people running I kind of want to say; "Why? Is there no one better than these!" So, in the end, I'm not really happy with any of the choices, but I'm certain that however get's the office is suppose to be there according to God's will. (But, this election makes me wish to enter into politics to try and make a difference.)

I'm going for Obama against McCain, with Obama winning. If Hilary doesn't pull something quick then Obama is definitely going to have the spot of leader in the Democratic race. McCain just got a boost from the New York Times, not an intentional boost, but a boost that was supposed to be a shutdown of McCain. I don't feel like going into details about that.

GO OBAMA!!!!!!!

I'm voting McCain all the way. Hilary's economic plans are just crazy and Obama doesn't have any real experience. I don't think you should vote for some one because he is "new and exciting".

I'm able to vote, and I'm voting for McCain, however much I would not like to, but I don't think that America is ready for a Black America. Too much racism still.

If I were able to vote, I'd vote for Obama.
Hilary is doing extremely horrible in the election, and she supports all the ideas of Jack Thompson, so I would definitely like her out. Personally, I think as soon as the real democrat vs. republican election starts, McKain is gonna take it away.

FYI, yes he does. He's the junior state senator from Illinois.

Obviously he would have some background in politics.

I should probably expain myself. When I said he had I no experience I meant he had much less than others. Also you'll notice that around 85% of votes on the bills he voted neutral or in other words he didn't really vote either way.

Go for? As I recall, the candidate chooses their running mate.
